As some of you might know, I have been battling cancer for the last two-plus years. After multiple surgeries and four different chemotherapy treatments, the fight has not gone as I had hoped. As such, I will be going to Edmonton this evening and will be having a rather complicated surgical procedure next week. The recovery period will be lengthy, but the hope is that I will be cancer-free after this.
I am deeply saddened that I will not continue to be part of your children's' learning. It has been a privilege to be their teacher and I'd like to thank all of you for your support in their learning.
